SUMMER THEATRE INSTITUTE-NYC, 2008 is an intensive teen theatre training program. Taught by professional theatre teaching artists, the program is open to high school freshman and up(ages 14-19). All of the students live on a college campus New York City. This year students will be housed in the Lincoln Center area - The Rose Building, Meredith Willson Residence Hall (located on the campus of The Juilliard School). Theatre classes, workshops, and seminars will be conducted at professional theatre studios (Nola Studios and the Sage Theatre) in the theatre district of New York City.
This month-long theatre training program is open to Actors, Musical Theatre Actors, Dancer-Actors, Directors, and Playwrights. Admission is by audition or by sending in a videotaped/dvd audition.
